Verified traveler 21-Mar-2020 leisure Great guesthouse almost directly on a wonderful beach with lots of shade. Guesthouse provides beach chairs. Owner was extremely helpful with everything we needed. I would suggest to have a rental car if staying here, so you are able to explore other things in the area. |

Not for those who want all inclusive luxury and haut-cuisine, but for those wanting authenticity and more sustainable tourism - perfect. |

The proprietor, who we met the next morning, spoke perfect English and updated us on everything that we needed to know. The gite is about 100yds from an excellent beach; and there was a choice of EIGHT restaurants, a creperie and an ice cream parlour within a 5min walk of the property. The gite was about 50yds from the main coast road of Basse Terre, which made exploring the island a cinch. All i all, the place can't be faulted. 5 stars from me. |
